It is hard to imagine a more luxurious smoked salt! We take our French Fleur de Sel and smoke it with French oak wine barrels. The wine barrels are all hand selected and have been used for five to seven years aging chardonnay wine. The result is a light toasty brown Fleur de Sel with deep smoke flavor without any bitterness. You can use this as a finishing salt or for coking meats, seafood or sauces and soup. Sprinkle on fresh salmon before pan searing and it is heavenly!
